Well, in that light, that makes more sense. Rant and PC accusations retracted.

Hamilton was drafted #1 overall by Tampa Bay . Started using in the minors, was let go (or kicked out, don't remember), out of baseball for a year or two, cleaned up, was signed by the Reds, the Rangers liked him so much that they traded for him (Edinson Volquez, one of their best minor league pitchers at the time, now a starter for the Reds), relapsed last year, cleaned up.

This picture is from a news story on a Norwegian website. Apparently, the Devil is a Norwegian girl in her late teens or early twenties. Creepy!

Norway does have a thing for death metal tho. May be a connection between Satan and rock-n-roll after all.

Assault On England (US 1972 UK 1973) By Ralph Eugene Hayes

He was a master criminal with a foolproof techniques for assassination. Unless Britain met his price of 10 million pounds, he would annihilate the entire English government. To prove his threat he gunned down the Foreign Minister. When the money was not delivered quickly enough he killed another carefully guarded state official.

The Omega Terror (US 1972 UK 1973)

Microbiologist Dr Damon Zeno, an American defector, had set up a top secret lab for his creation, the omega mutation. A microscopic bug that multiplied quickly and could not be destroyed. His plan was to turn it loose on the United States. Nick had to stop him before Omega Day.

Couldn't help it; the moment I saw that rictus-like grin, I heard the Church Lady in the background:

"Oh, I don't know, SATAN???"

Target: Doomsday Island (US 1973 UK 1974)

Somewhere in the penthouse of posh Dubloon Hotel in the Bahamas, and aging billionaire was throwing elegant parties. If he was merely a rich and eccentric old man the US government would not care or got involved. But Mr Ingersoll was a man who knew far too much about a top secret missile system.

The Liquidator (US 1973 UK 1974)

The message was short and to the point: Alex Zenopolis, former Greek Intel officer, will contact an US agent in Greece, time and place to follow. The assignment was simple enough, fly to Athen, hire a car, pick up Alex's sister, Christina, then rent a sailing boat for a cruise to Corfu. then contact with Alex Zenopolis. But simple assignments have a way of going wrong.

That's one thing I hate about monocular microscopes. Squint and look too closely and you could wind up running the fixed objective eyepiece through your retina. Poor chap-looks like its done him in.

From Yahoo.
TOKYO (Reuters) - Want an exclusive venue for your next party? The Mandarin Oriental Tokyo hotel may have the answer: use of the entire hotel, including nine restaurants and all spas and rooms -- for a cool $671,000 a night.

The luxury hotel in central Tokyo began selling the plan a week ago as "something splashy" to commemorate its opening five years ago, said hotel spokeswoman Chie Hayakawa. It intends to apply for recognition from Guinness World Records once a reservation is finalized.

"When the hotel opened we had an exclusive party like this -- black tie, cocktail dresses. There was music and drinks and food from the restaurants, and it was all quite grand," said Hayakawa, who took part.

"We thought it would be fun to offer the same experience to an exclusive group of guests."

Under the plan, the entire hotel -- 178 guest rooms, all nine restaurants and all spas -- would be reserved from 3:00 in the afternoon to noon the next day. It would include a cocktail reception for 500 people.

The price tag is 55 million yen ($671,800).

Hayakawa said the hotel has already received a number of inquiries, mainly from companies, though individuals would be welcome as well.

"The only thing is, you have to pick a date where there are no reservations already," she added. "It's not as if you could just request it for later this week."

Scenario 1 is plain vanilla TOE for the Japs. Scenario 2 includes extra goodies-a couple more infantry divisions, some extra small naval units, extra fuel, etc.

Just tried a half-dozen turns on the Guad scenario against the AI.

1) Its nice that it tells you how many AAMGs the lugnuts dropped overboard while unloading.
2) So the escorts of an amphib TF now suppress shore fire, not just sit around to be shot? Nice!
3) These search arcs are an interesting concept. Do they work?
4) Is supply loading faster now, or does it just seem like it?
5) The AI doesnt clear the decks of 2 CVs to attack a single DD anymore? Whoa! What a concept.

My brain is too fried for today. But it looks very good.

Ah. Thanks.

And Ironman includes the Space Battleship Yamato and 3 mecha from Gundam Wing?

It'll tell you how many lugnuts fed the fishes too.

No. Don't use them. It is a known bug.

It's fast at big ports. Get on a small one and you'll find it pretty slow. Trying to unload over the beach is even worse.

Get real comfortable with Amphibious TFs. These will be your mainstay for picking up or dropping off at small ports.

ETA: Dude.
