I've had WITP for 4 or 5 years & fiddled with it against the AI and picked up AE back in January. I've been playing against AI off and on for months at a time and am getting frustrated at the AI's suicidal play (as well as it's necessary cheating).

This is the perfect chance for a newer player that wants to try their hand for the first time at Japanese expansion, production and strategy in more of a learning mode game for us both rather than all-out competition mode.

All my AI game moves have been fairly sloppy in that there's no real need to plan the perfect beach assault or handle extensive training, mining, upgrade mgt, replacement mgt, or much of any extended effort that a human player requires. I'd like a reason to clean up my beer & pretzel play style so I'm ready to take the plunge to improve both your and my game so that some day next decade we can challenge the experts here :).

I'm open to almost any house rule you'd like to use but would like to play 1 game day turns.

With the boy off to college i expect to be able to post at least a turn daily real-time.
