On my main computer I have just switched to wireless internet and now I cant log into a lot of my for former sites. Matrix games will load the banner and the game symbol and then stop, it states �waiting for s7.addthis.com.� on the lower left.
CNN and my local Spokane news sites will not load, FoxNews will. Hulu will load, Netflix will not�.very frustrating.
I have tried this with both IE8 and Firefox. I have turned off all popup blockers. I also tried the restore advanced setting, still cant get them to work. Could this be a bug? AVG did not find anything.
Any suggestions?

"s7.addthis.com" is a widely reported phishing and spam site. Maybe your antivirus is trying to block it.

If it states �waiting for s7.addthis.com.� maybe you have some malware from said site ?

My solution was using the free program NoScripts:

http://noscript.net/

Just need to remember that various new site won't load completely (seem to stall) until you give permanent or temporary permissions.

On another topic, I allowed Microsoft's Window Essentials to be downloaded and installed this last week and it screwed up my being able to use Mozilla for connecting to the internet, until I took it off my machines.
