Attached is the most recent allied turn I've received in my PBEM game with Christian (.pws renamed to .zip). When I try to generate the new turn though, it will reliably - at least for me - CTD. I can enter my password normally, the program tells me that it is saving the combat replay and is advancing the loading bar but before the action starts it crashes.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am feeling slightly paranoid.

I would like to wait for one of the programmers to weigh in first. Perhaps there is something they can do.

Had similar problem a bit back.  I solved it with extra RAM.  If you are between recommended and minimum RAM, your game can crash there in turns with large battles.  Just a thought.

Do you have a save from the previous turn?

There seems to be some corruption that is causing this problem.

Many thanks for your support, michael. castor did redo his part of the turn and that also worked without crashing. According to him he did nothing extraordinary during the crashing version, just normal housekeeping.

I'll attach the save that I've sent him. Perhaps that will help.

Edit: Seeing as I already have your attention, I also noticed another (non-related) bug. If a LCU is destroyed in combat and there is a fragment, the fragment will turn into the parent - no problem here. However the "new" unit reliably looses any TOE upgrades that the "old" one still possessed.

Yes there is a lot of info that needs to be copied from the fragment to the new parent.

I will check that and any other fields that may be missing or required.

The TOE one I had already identified and corrected for a future build. The TOE was being wiped when the parent was killed.
