Er, no. "The Cruel Sea" is about a corvette running convoy escort in WWII. I think you're thinking of "Open Water".

Eeeeeeeeeeek... yep... mistake...

BTW, still love the "H.M.S. Ulysses" by Alistair MacLean...

Shame that it was never turned into movie!

Probably because it was too depressing. (SPOILER ALERT) After all, everybody dies. Who but a Russian would like that kind of story? (Sorry Yury!). At least in the Cruel sea SOME of them survive!

BTW, the so-called "Lady GaGa" performs here tonight (in our "Arena" dome)...

Oh, dear Thread.....

I guess you don't like here either...

Unfortunately many teenagers (and even younger children) do...

Leo "Apollo11"

To quote Terminus (I think) I am underwhelmed.

"Lady" GaGa does serve a useful purpose. She provides a baseline to judge just how low a person will lower them selves for fame.

That's what you get for watching the history channel again!

There was nothing else on.

What you couldn't find a test pattern? THATS why I keep a very large collection of DVD's. I easily have enough unseen to survive a season snowed in! And sufficient books too! Let's hope I don't have to!

on my third start of Fallout New Vegas...keep vacillating (sp?) between using V.A.T.S. or not...seems too easy, but damn it's hard to hit anything over the iron sights...

Freehand is for spray and pray like 10mm SMG. I would go for VATS every time. Easier on the ammo too.

Completely untrue. In Russian stories 1 person survives....someone needs to be the voice.

Yeah, but he's usually a prisoner of the Cheka or the KGB or someone waiting for a "natural death" due to a "9mm brain hemorage!"

It might be a little while, at $84.00 a copy being the cheapest I've found so far.

Well that one is debatable, because with the nature of physics (and other stuff) it could be you northerners that are actually upside-down.

Yep Steve, late spring or early summer, and everyone locally has hay-fever. Seems there is always a downside, but I am not complaining, summer is good.
