ORIGINAL: gladiatt that's now 5 days, since wenesday night, that Claire is not any more in the same world as we......... As always, I'm sorry to hear that there is no improvement in Claire's condition, Eric. Have the doctors been able to give you any information or diagnosis about what is causing the problems, or are all of the mind problems triggered by her other physical health issues? I sure hope the doctors are able to come up with a treatment plan for her that will help. i met her doctor at the hospital. The diagnosis is "psychose". That mean that she build her own universe, with her own perceptions. What triggered this ? Who knows ? All the health troubles she had in her life ? All the fear that come from her childhood. Something else ? All this together ? For now, she don't have any action from herself: the staff must ask her to move, to come to eat, to make her eat, to make her take a shower, and so on. I don't have the right to visit her since wenesday. She don't ask about her husband or her parents, in fact hse ask for nothing. We have a fear with her parents that she could have received the wrong medication: 2 years ago, one medication using "paroxetine" triggered her first delirium crisis. She was in hospital at wenesday 20 october. In a week, she felt much better, was able to joke, to talk. Then the doctor gave her a new medication, and with her parents we had the feeling that she, once again, felt more and more anguish, frightened, unable to think. In 3 days she had another delirium crisis. And she has not recovered yet !!! The longer this kind of crisis stay, the higher is the risk that she will never "come back". When i went to see her doctor he was "unable" (unwilling ???????) to tell what medication exactly she had. It was for sure a good one, one that suit her, but wich exactly he could not tell. In this case, i pretend that he could have ask the medical staff to refresh his memory. So, i am going tonight ( 8pm) to see the "General doctor" of my wife (each french people should have a doctor used for usual stuff), so she could ask WHAT medication was given to Claire, because I HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW !!!!! ( i mean, this is really the law!) I can't admit to let her down, and i would do any little/big/gigantic thing that she need ! (this is the only smiley that i found to express not anger, but the fierce willpower that i have to make something); And i can't even imagine life without her. You will always have my sympathies, Eric ... but I'm a little heartened to see that you still have a lot of fight left in you! Good man!
