That is what happens when you drink it all, Eric.

Good day today, or bad one?

Good day ! Claire is feeling much better , she is recovering slowly but she is recovering, and she is able to joke !

I am so pleased. Have been thinking and praying for both of you.

Virtual, we may be, but you have many friends who send you both the best they can.

I gave in during a week moment and unblocked the most recent incarnation of our favorite forum troll to see what he could possibly have posted in the "thank you veterans" thread.

I am willing to bet $1,000,000 he has never spent a single day serving in the military of any country.

does sometimes visiting a fantasy world where he leads hordes of orcs from the saddle of a flying nazgul count?

Dang! I never thought of that! I had better consult with my lawyers.

I checked with mine.No , It doesn't count...

what did that cost you?

The usual fee. I had to give her a foot rub!

whoa...just got flashback to LA Law

It's ok K E M, I'm married to her! BTW , we have another P-3 Mafia member on the forum. Capt Hornblower, (AKA AW1Paul) hasn't poseted here (yet) but has been pursuaded to by the game and join the forum. By my count , that four of us (1ppc, and 3 AW's). We are gaining!

You still have some way to go. Four USN aviators being left in the dust by one lowly rifleman...

AH Correction oh cynical one! One USN Aviator and three USN aircrewmen! (You need to be VERY careful in use of the word Aviator around USN types, sort of like how you don't want to misuse the word Marine! It could be very dangerous!). Would we be discussing a former Dannish rifleman ? (Would was also ,qualified as a scout , if I recall correctly?).

Perhaps a "Lowly rifleman", but a world class spammer!

If one was to say (not me of course), that they think the world is run by Mice. Would that be considered a political statement?

No. Just that they have read The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy at least one time too much.

Who is a smartypants then, my evil plot to spread descent and rottenness in the THREAD (or is that the Thed) has been fouled by young Per.

I think it's a political bias against the Southern Hemisphere, Des! You should file a grievance with Brother Terminus.

No.

Thanks Mike for the idea,

and looky here... than looks like a small caring 'No' to me, oh than's nice of 'T'.

That is pretty funny, I just finished " Sunrise " myself.
I learned a lot. Boy were those early days in the Pacific Theatre hectic for the Allied forces.

Have any of you guys ever done something incredibly stupid? Like pay $100 for something that turned out to be something completely different.

I'm trying to get Bootcamp set up on my Mac, but I dont have an oem Windows disk. So I went online and found Win XP for $100. The thing arrives today......

and its an upgrade disk.

So I basically spent a $100 on a coaster or a frisbee.

You got ripped off. OEM disks should always be full copies. What computer manufacturer out there could use an upgrade disk? Hmm?

Sorry bud.

So, joke of the day.

Claire gave me a phone call this morning. The night was busy in hospital, 2 patient escaped and their was a big mess in the middle of
the night to find them back.
According to Claire, one of them wanted to catch the train for the moon. She added: "you know , there are people really mad in there..." . So i start to tell her " err, Claire, you know..." and she finished " Yes, i know i am like them, but still !"
(and i knew she was joking aboout herself)....
