Is this a bug, or is it just my browser (Firefox).

With the "New Matrix Website" update, the forum software no longer changes the boldface type on a (new unread) thread to regular type if you read it...

of course, you CAN always change EVERYTHING to regular type by telling it to "mark this forum read" - but that is a pain since you kind of have to keep track of what you've read, and what you haven't, read them all, THEN change the status of the entire (sub)forum...

Using firefox, bold/unbold still works for me, including this thread.

OK - restarting the browser worked... i guess it affected the browser since i had the website open when it did the upgrade.

I get this a lot (see below). Just keep trying and eventually it works. I suppose they'll work out the kinks within a few days.

Sometimes upgrades on different sites require you to go to the intrernet options at the top of the browser or in the Control Panel and go to "settings", and mark "Upgrade each time I visit", instead of the default setting....

I don't even have that in Chrome, but the variable nature of the problem makes me believe they haven't yet settled in with all of their server changes. It seems like sometimes requests are going to the wrong server, meaning one that doesn't know where or how to look for the page requested. It could be that sometimes a request gets passed to an old server that it no longer fully set up (and shouldn't be sent requests anymore), or the opposite, meaning that one of the new servers isn't yet fully in the loop but is receiving requests anyway.

Cleared up after a routine PC reboot. If it wasn't browser caching on this end it might have been DNS caching.

Same here. Logging out, clearing all cookies and rebooting solved the problem.
