On question #1 we answer "No" and on question #2 we say "we have never seen any proof of that"

Don't have to supply "proof" of something that's self-evident.

Of course, Swedes who come here are invariably blind drunk, so they wouldn't remember it anyway...

Is that how drunk you need to be for Danish girls to look attractive?

No, the reason is that alcohol sales are so tightly regulated in Sweden that they have to come here to get hammered.

Meh, I'll take the cold weather. I didn't understand the American obesity epidemic was real until I moved to the Midwest. I was only in my new town for about a month when, while out driving, I turned the corner only to see an 18 year old girl...weighing about 300lbs, wearing a pink poka-dot bikini and so pale she could have been an albino.

...nearly drove my car into a tree from the shock and horror.

My wife worked yesterday and my son and I visited my mother in law for Thanksgiving dinner.  Before going into work tonight, Sara made dinner for us.  She roasted a turkey breast.

Very happy for you Eric.

Now about that car. The trouble is that its probably French. See, your wife should be French (you got that one right), but your car should be German, your watch Swiss, your tea English, etc.

Heaven is where:
The lovers are Italian
The cooks are French
The mechanics are German
The police are English
The government is run by Swiss

Hell is where:
The lovers are Swiss
The cooks are English
The mechanics are French
The police are German
The government is run by Italians

Speak for yourself. I'm at work too.

Not I .

Work is but a distant memory atm.

But I will have to run a hundred mile a day next week to lose the weight I gained over these four days.

Oh Jeez. Totally sorry. Forgot that seriosity was toe-tally suspect on the THREAD. My bad.

Returning to thread things, Walmart has some "wicked good" specials on HDTVs. They got a black Friday special on a Sony/Visio plasma, 52", 1080p, for $598. Woof !! Gonna hit the local Walmart on sucker Saturday and see what the elephant herd left, and what Walmart marked it down to, to move it out. Hey, I'm thinking Auburn/Oregon or the super bowl, with a crown roast, haricot vert, pommes roti, salade caesar, and a big Motha HDTV. Hoo, Doggie, I LIKE Alabama.

Tom Label is hoping that you're wrong... though his team just lost their big lead in the Iron Bowl.

Just read about it. Looks like "mostly" database only, which won't affect us without a restart. I'm up for waiting until the "impending" patch 6 is released.

Not quite: there are three hotfixes in it, two of which are pretty important (the base radar fix and the attack bomber fix).

Yeah, but our game is only in Jan '42, and the next code patch is likely to be available fairly soon. That said, I'm always ready and willing to upgrade.
