Hi,

Just restarted an AI game with the latest patch.

I set Darwin as the new home port for the offmap TF422 (18th UK Div Reinf.). I saw this message that I've never seen before in the TF info screen "Moving Off Map - Ordered to turn around, estimated arrival now 1 days". I assumed this meant the TF would enter the map the next day, but found to my surprise the entire TF docked at Darwin the next day instead?

Screen shot from EOT 8th dec and the beginning of 9th dec.

Game saves in the next two posts. The first one (wpae005) is at EOT dec 8th. The next one (wpae006) is at the start of dec 9.

That is what happen when you change destination of off-map convoy when it is in entry box. Convoy teleports to destination next turn. It can also cause it to get permanently stuck off-map, so not recommended. Only action for TF off-map that is recommended is setting home port and pressing "Return to (home port).

I knew that it could be risky changing directions for offmap convoys. I didn't know about this teleport business though.

I have only experienced it couple of times, might have been introduced in previous patch. But then, I don't usually change the destinations off-map.

It can be a bit of "cheat", since Tf arrives in next turn..which is good. On the other hand..it may never arrive...
