I've seen a couple of people suggest the graphics aren't great - I actually think it's probably one of the best looking computer wargames I've ever owned. There's a definite board game feel and I believe that was the intention and it shows, because the colours, terrain and units all fit very nicely into that look.

great job on the graphics.

It looks a lot like a GMT-Mark Simonitch Map

He actually liked the looks of GGWITE and is going to buy it for his dear younger brother for Xmas
