Can you compare this game with others like:

- Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris

- Across the Dnepr: Second Edition

Which are their similarities and their differences?

Thank you very much for your help !!

DC: Warsaw to Paris: Sort of similar I'd say. However honestly I like the way this system works better. Aside from movement/battle mechanics this game also has a pretty deep supply and production system. DC: WtoP uses card play and is simpler.

ATD2: This game is at a completely different level. That game is an operational game. This game is a strategic game. That game has scenarios that last a couple of weeks. This game has 1 week turns. Both are great but this is a completely different game.

My first reaction to this game was that its what TOAW wanted to be when it grew up.

ATD2 is a great game and a pretty good comparison except for the scale. Honestly though, I think this is even a better game. More realistic, better interface, more detail, better graphics and epic scale. And a better AI.

So far, I think its the best strategic war game I've ever played. I've had the game for 2 days and I've played Minsk 6 times just to learn the mechanics. And I haven't been bored once.

What I have loved so much about the game is yes its a grand campaign. This is always in the back of your mind. However every army is a little game, how you control your corps is so heart throbing....
