I was on hold with the IRS. They were helping other "customers".

BTW, I also Googled Kandy House hotel. Apparently quite nice (4 or 5 stars) but has too many "mossies" at night according to clients..

This seems uneconomical to substitute 2 syllables for one and is at odds with the apparent general trend in Jackspeak but I suppose this could be an "irregular" case.

It's almost as complicated as the land movement rules in AE

Bad move, IRS, you don't know who you are up against! The SOB's wanted $2089.77 but when I got done with them it was down to exactly.........................wait for it........................................... .$2089.77


Apparently, they are kind of grouchy because of the budget deficit thingy. God knows it isn't my fault.


It could have been worse. I almost had to start over because I couldn't remember Stalker Girls B'day which they required for security purposes.


Meanwhile, the HOA wants me to paint over the lichen on my fence. Bloody provincials. Do you think the groundskeeper at Stourhead has to deal with nimrods like this?

Page 130 of the manual words it in terms of torpedoes with a dud rate greater than 49 having their dud rate reduced in January and September 1943. I have always proceeded on the basis that only the USN fleet sub torpedoes were so affected but I have never bothered to double check on the aerial torpedoes. In practice torpedoes dropped by my feared TBD Devastators have appeared to be quite explosive enough, the trick of course was to get the delivery platform to survive long enough to actually deliver.

At least in WITP, having a sub in the same hex as an enemy hex will sometimes give you some information on the hex, i.e., the number of units stationed there, etc. However, this is not 100% certainty, and for a major base it is quite a risk to send in a sub... i suspect instead it may have been a mining mission.

Best send out those MSWs!
