I played Hermans newest scenario in ANW 394.

I knew my crew was rusty after months of following Kennedy around.
I tried to close the range to within my Kashins 76mm guns, but a drunken sailor flinched when a Tomcat flew right overhead and fired his MG at the plane. Immediatelz Kennedies battlegroup unleashed a barrage of missiles.
I had time to offload my SSMs and even some SAMs in SSM mode, but Kennedies defenses were too strong and the Tattletale was quickly overwhelmed and sank.

Last known course of Kennedy was 359 for Sigonella at 16 knots, and I plotted courses for my SSNs in intercept, while assigning the Foxtrot to stay at 2 knots defending the Juliet SSG who were also creeping. I planned to wait untill my three SSG/SSGNs were in range though I was not hopefull for a hit.

To intercept Kennedy, one of my SSNs needed to cruise at max speed - 42 knots, and it turned out not to be invincible against 52 knot torpedos.

Then suddenly my Foxtrot heard a Lupo go overhead, and detected Kennedy coming right at it at 16 knots. The carrier had evidently changed course. I only needed to drift ahead of Kennedy, while frantically reloading tubes with my 70 knots, 4 nm torpedoes. Hoever at 10nm Kennedy changed course and Foxtrot needed to speed up to 9 knots to intercept. Half an hour later Foxtrot launched 5 torpedoes from 2nm away. It looked like all missed! One tube was reloaded and a 6th torpedo hit Kennedy! Kennedz then went off scope, but knowing Id only seen one hit and I had not fired a nuke, the fox skipper stuck up the periscope and confirmed Kennedy being dead in the water and sinking.

At that point, incoming torpedoes were detected and hit Fox.
Victory was not awareded as I had lost a ship and two subs.

Fun scen - I suspect the AI may have tracked me coming in but somehoe could not classify me as hostile untill I gave him a visual ID.
Few remarks: the predicted date of the air attack that Soviet ground forces will make is 3 months in the future. Not sure you intended that? Second, I failed to verify Weapons were tight at start of game which meant my Kashin started firing. Third, the orders suggest I need to prevent 3 ships from sinking, mine or the allied Sov KUG. I did not think I would likewise have to preserve subs.
