ORIGINAL: Erik Rutins * Froze several Soviet Armies for several turns until they were released historically Excellent Erik - many thanks. I assume that this change is to reduce the ability of the Soviet AI to create a carpet of defenders early in the game? A couple of questions/suggestions: 1. Is the release schedule adaptive, based on the Victory core? If not, it would be good to consider this so that a better Human Axis player triggers earlier releases from the Soviet reserve. 2. Do the frozen reserve armies release automatically if an enemy ground or airborne unit approaches within n hexes? 3. Do the frozen 2nd and 3rd echelon formations start at 100% TOE, or are they 'forming' as they would have historically through the mobilisation process? If they could be set so that they are forming, with the manpower pool upped to reflect and support this, then an earlier release from reserve would be somewhat off-set by weaker reserve forces. This would add historical realism in terms of the Soviet readiness for major combat operations.
