I was wondering if there will be a Poland '39 scenario as an update or add-on- you could play Poland, Germany or Russia.

Anyhow cheers,

BTW I did do a search on the topic and found no other threads related to it.

I was thinking with a Polish campaign, nearly the entire war in the east would covered.
With the exception of the Balkens.

As the game appears to moving onwards to Africa and the West (maybe '40) why not Poland '39?

Your not saying that this is the start of a modular game system are you. You know like the old days with DNO etc? I shutter to think of such a thing. First someone wants Poland , then the Balkans, then Africa and on to the world! What a bad dream....I will be lucky to get WitE down in a year or two LOL

You know, I think it could be done...substituting Russians for Polish forces in the editor...
The only problem is the date is hard coded as turn 1 for June 22,1941...

Interesting though...

Im not saying it shouldnt/couldnt be done, just that Im fine with this for now.Im was averaging 2-3 hours per turn in Axis gc,now turn 5 Im up to 4 hours per turn.Imagine the time the game would take with all theatres of war?20 hours per turn or more.No thanks.Other fronts are fine but the entire WW2 would be unplayable.

Poland wouldn't be much more involved than Road to Minsk.  A short scenario (4 turns), and a lopsided battle.  It might be interesting as a race against the clock for the Germans, but that would be an 'artificial' deadline.  Or as a 'training' scenario, again like Road to Minsk.  Perhaps if Poland got to change its deployment, but their pre-war "Romanian Bridgehead" strategy was shot from the start with the Russians coming in the back door (edit: and the fact that they weren't going to get rescued by the French and British no matter what they did).

I don't think it would be THAT difficult to create as a scenario. Would it? The start date we can just ignore I guess.
