'lo.

I have a little problem in my latest game as Ackdarian, I soon colonised an independent Naxxilian planet, and then, I found dozens other in my cluster... I used my newly acquired Naxxilians to incorporate the other independent Naxxilians into my empire (that *does* help, right ?), and, I'm not getting any of the Naxxilians' racial bonus out of it.
And, as you can see from the screenshot, Naxxilians are now the majority in my empire (not that it matters, the king shall forever be Ackadarian

), they're, if I'm not mistaken, 56 591 millions, with 48 millions humans and the 31 405 millions Ackdarians.

Little screenshot :

I uploaded the save game on the FTP as " Tree_Dog_Race_bonuses_problem.dwg ", I can upload 3 savegames from the previous years if needed.

Is there any way to fix this in my current savegame or are their bonus lost forever ?

I'm seeing this too, as Haakonish, I'm not getting any bonus from my large numbers of securans :(

I think at least x% of the total population has to be of the other Race to get the Bonus.

This was in earlier versions, I'm not sure if it's still around or if it went away and then came back - so many changes it's hard to keep track of them sometimes.

no matter the amount of aliens, Tree Dog has more than enouh....i think it's above 100M to get the bonus
but, if other races have the same bonus then only the best bonus will apply...not sure if it the case here also
if not, it's indeed not WAD

Naxxilians represent 64% of my total population.

Their bonus is lower war weariness and lower troops maintenance. Something neither Ackdarians nor Humans have.

Well, I just checked another savegame, from a completely different game, and same problem there. Out of 100 billions, I have around 70 billions Humans, yet I get bonuses only from them, obviously, and from Gizureans. I'm rather sure I have enough Atuuks and Qamenoes to get their bonus, though. I can upload the savegame if needed.

To clarify. Some bonuses do not show in the Empire screen. I don't have the Galactopedia open or the game running, so sorry if I'm a bit vague, as I can't actually remember what the bonuses for Naxxilian are.

If they get troop bonus, war weariness or happiness these will not show in the Diplomacy window, they show on the planets themselves. So for example, I think the Atuuk give happiness yes? Click on a planet with a high population of Atuuk and you should see "The Atuuk give this planet a satisfaction bonus" or some similar wording. Same would go for Securan.

Also, bonuses do not stack. For example if you were playing as Ketarov and you had a lot of Humans, you wouldn't get a espionage bonus from them because you already have a higher espionage from your Ketarov. Hope this helps.

Lower troop maintenance for Naxxilians, no idea where I picked up the lower war weariness bonus.

Anyway, well, you were absolutely right, their troops do have a lower maintenance and Atuuks give a +30% bonus to happiness... Thought they would apply empire-wide... And even worse than that, they only applies when that race has the most citizens on a colony.
