I am playing in my first PBEM game, and my opponent informed me that he had launched an air attack against Port Moreseby. But when I watched the combat report file, I did not see the attack. My opponent confirmed that he did indeed launch the attack and resent the combat report file, but I still did not see anything. We have only played two turns. The first turn the combat report file showed nothing. The second turn the only thing the combat report file showed was 2 seperate recon flights (no coastwatcher sightings, no combat reports, no naval sightings, nothing). What is going on here?

It is a know bug that sometimes the replay does not show all the combat results. I have had whole carrier battles that I've missed. Unfortunately this bug is very hard to chase down and my never be fixed. Fortunately it does not happen very often. I just attribute it to a foul-up in Navy communications and move on. If you have a decent PBEM player, he will tell you what you missed when this happens.

Coastwatcher reports for PBEM games have been turned off so the Japanese player does not receive intelligence on which of his ships have been spotted. The ships are still being spotted and displayed for the US player.
