Unfortunately for Germany in this game, Tweber knows that nation inside and out. I think we're stuck at RFT/GB until after new years, right ?

Turkish people celebrated the annexation of Teheran today by kicking the dastardly Russians out of Belgrade.
Ottoman Sultan justified this act by calling upon the ancient alliance between Germany and Russia, which guaranteed the trade of good German sausages.
But, with the Russian bear now poised to eat all of the Turkey sausages, Ottoman Sultan had no choice but to involve himself in a struggle for these delicatessen, and hereby invites all sausage-loving people of the world to join this alliance, and save the endangered German knockwurst!

Thanks for a laugh! And since when is honour a prerequisite for diplomacy? As Jim Hacker said, it's about looking them in eye and stabbing them in the back. Quite a trick, really .... need long arms...

These are the reasons I HATE diplomatic games. Anyway, within the context of the current game, it's good to know who's doing what to who and how it's being done. The ingame notifications seem to be a bit off.

Turn 5, British Emipre

Britain has sent a DoW to France. Torpedo boats sent to Denmark in order to interrupt the Russian supply lines between Russian base in Sweden and troops in Denmark.

There is a small error in the game. Britain has a night fighter squad available in India. I could not resist to test it, but as it has only attack and defence values for air combat given I could be sure not to eliminate any ground forces of France - only recon was done. I will delete the unit next turn.

It is quite simple really. If you are paranoid about something it will happen.

1.) Strike a deal with me getting Brussels.
2.) Breaking it.
3.) I have to dow and take it.
4.) Peace me whilst worrying I attack, amass at my border
5.) Insult me per e-mail

6.) Act suprised you are attacked.

Yeah, well done.

Done is done. Most wars start out as misunderstandings and/or bad communications. I guess its no different here in this game. Besides, I think that the chances that there would be peace in europe for very long were quite slim. Who really cares who is honorable (unless you have to strike a deal with that someone).

If you guys want to mediate a peace, Brazil is willing to play the go-between... after all, i have nothing to lose listening to you guys... :)

A week is a long time to wait and in a 9 player game, there is likely to always be one player who has other committments.  If you cannot find the 20 minutes or so to play your turn, could you let Turkey play your turn?

And I object!

Your honour, not being intimately acquianted with my esteemed Ally's plans for the use of his equipment or resources, I would be running a severe risk of mounting a wrong action with the wrong things at the wrong time and in the wrong place (and that's not mentioning the wrong results) or - in the least case - ordering a wrong kind of dressing for the Pizza (anchovies anyone?)

The only way of making sure that doesn't happen is for my erstwhile ally to send me a good 34-page memo outlining his plans for the next couple of minutes - and with the time to write it down being about the same as playing the #$%& turn himself ... I propose that the Mother Russia wait for the hind-quarter-kicking (aka Turkey-shoot) a little while longer.

Or take a 3 hour exam! , youd make a decent lawyer

Anyway when I said that the week was almost over, I should be able to play tomorrow.

I happen to like anchovies on pizza, on the side of course.

Sriracha sauce on pizza is excellent, especially cold, leftover, pizza from the fridge. mmmmm

Now, about the game....
