Good job TGW, but you should capitalize the subject line

T has been quite active lately, though not today.

Better yet,.....i have a doc appt today so that the doctor can chew me out. Had my blood drawn the other day for cholesterol because i have a hereditary pre-disposition for it. (Father and brother are both on meds for it.) and i don't eat rabbit food. I knew i was in trouble when the nurse called and said....."The doctor wants to see you right away"

Probaby 3x what it should be. Time for Lipitor i think and alot of chicken.

Getting old sucks.

Well one can only do so much Jared inspired menu selections at Subway. Then again there are fellows out there who smoke and drink and live to be 104. Goes to show that you never know when or by what means your ticket is going to get punched.

I'll try to keep that in mind as the doctor is wacking my behind today.......

Don't take this the wrong way, but you won't be one of those fellows.

I'm glad that you had your checkup and have identified what needs to be done to enable you to lead a healthy, long life going forward. Yup, genetics blows, but there it is. You've got what you've got-good, bad and indifferent. I think it's good to know what your particular weaknesses may be.

As Clint said in Magnum Force, "A man's got to know his limitations."

Well my dad has not been in the best of shape for years, and has high cholesterol and has never had a heart attack. He's in his 70's now. True, he's on lipitor and his doctor is demanding he change his diet or be declared a diabetic. Hopefully the drug can get my levels down enough to allow me to have some pizza once a week on fridays. GF likes to cook beef but at least the stuff we get comes from a local organic foods mart and is lean. sigh. Guess there's always fish too......unbattered of course.

I'll tell ya what...the Aussies and Kiwis have been putting out some bloody good wines in the last 10 years. Some of the New Zealand whites I've had recently are amongst the best I've had. Also eminently affordable and widely available...
