I hope this has not been posted before: in August 42 I'm close to push into Romania as Soviet and all of a sudden a whole army of Polish units is at my service, bringing equipment from 1944 - I wonder how they managed to fit all that stuff into the De Lorean.

Trying to change their hq leader, gives me the option of a single Italian general:

If it's August 1942 and you're pushing into Romania as the Soviet player than there are obviously bigger problems than time travelling Poles!

Well this is my first full campaign game in WITE using version 1.02 and normal difficulty. But I played other strategy titles and WitP too.

In the South the Axis never managed to take Odessa and is now getting pushed back towards the Romanian border, with my first division just crossing into Romania at Kishinev. I played a fighting retreat in 41, then used the winter to isolate some German pockets and force them to surrender, kicked Finland out of the war in early 42 and then brought divisions over by sea from Helsinki to Tallinn (which the Axis never took on their drive towards Leningrad), creating lots of troubles for Army Group North. Axis has 3.4 million losses, I have 4.1 mill losses - no cheats or reloads used.

IIRC, I was also there in late summer '42 as the Soviets. Commented on it at the time but was shot down...

Current situation from North to Center, my spearheads should be able to reach Poland in the next 1-2 turns. What broke their back in the North was probably the winter pocket and then the reinforcment of Tallinn. The developing pocket around Riga will give them the rest, in the southern part of AGC I had advance elements already pay Lublin a visit.
