I have the same problem and it is, simply, NOT acceptable.
The updater has even downloaded the latest 3.101.exe to no avail
I say again, this is not acceptable!

Ade,

I'm sorry, I do not know when a fix will be released.  I haven't been involved in the ANW/H3 games for almost a year now due to real life time constraints so I have only touched HC/HCE/HUCE development.  I expect you'll hear something from AGSI or Matrix in the next 24 hours.  I'll knock on their door too if nothing is posted by then.

Sorry there mate, fail to see your sense of humour, I wanted to play this game last night and couldn't. What sort of inept programming has created this? I would to see what explanation the developers come up with. I just a bit pissed about this!

Hey folks,

First, I've confirmed the problem and that it affects Harpoon 3 ANW in the HUE release. This is AGSI's problem and we'll own it.

Second, we'll try to fix it as soon as possible. Likely through the updater tool. The patch being tested doesn't suffer from any timeout issue.

Andrew at Matrix was great about jumping on this immediately before he left work for the day. We've made the 3.10.1 update live through the Update utility which you can access through the Start menu.

This update fixes an issue with the 3.9.4 and 3.10 builds interfering with each other in how they used the Media Widget. 3.10.1 also removes the erroneous expiration which should have only been used in the beta.

Thank everyone for letting us know quickly and again Andrew at Matrix for working fast. I'll continue to monitor the issue this evening.

downloaded the 3.10.1a patch 10mins ago, installed without and issue and up and running again.

many thanks once again to everyone including Don and Matrix Games and all users that "constructively" reported the issue.
