I used my construction battalions to repair railroads on turn one. It is now turn 3 and they still have no movement points after they were expended in turn 1. How do these units recover movement points?

Not quite sure what your aiming at with your question.  Are you talking about the FBD's?  If so make sure your in the right display mode or actually click on them to see if they have the MP's there.  If you displaying the = sign then they will look like they have no movement so hit the 'z' key and it will change the display to show the - .  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response. yes, the FBD's use up movement points on turn 1, and the movement indicated on the unit is zero 2 turns later. I'll play around a little; I'm still overwhelmed with the game (uh, way of life!). Love it so far!

I load my security HQ's and Army HQs with the construction units and then dont move them which improves their chance of deploying to repair railway. This works well as their range is a function of the command radius so they will pretty much repair everywhere in range.
