All targets for our 1st War Phase offensive have falls in our hands. The material cost for these was too low how preplanned. Imperial Army have launched a massive struggle to put Chinese under their knees. With fives armies fighting hard to close the China incident, our forces are awaiting enemy offensives at Burmese border or Souther Perimeter in the Pacific Ocean Areas.

Imperial Japanese army is responsible to keep out the enemy from our S.R.A. With great success any enemy counterstrike have been avoided in Northern Australia, with all those bases have been destroyed and put under periodical air reconoissance. In the Burma/Indian Border the monssoon avoid our operations and all forces have been ordered to build up fortifications works. 1st Armoured Division is near to reach Burma and join with XV Army like General Reserve in this theatre.

For the other hand, IMPERIAL JAPANESE NAVY has the responsible to keep out enemy from any base to be useful for enemy jumpings across our lines. Any breaks in our perimeter will be inmediately counterstrike with all available Forces.

Air supperiority fighters (KI-44IIa will be available in three weeks) will be put under 5th Air Division HQ to cooperate with 11st Air Flotilla for our success in this area.

Orders will be ready to be accomplished in less than 20 days. Root of sin will be erradicated in the blow. If any of you are not ready to accomplish with your duty, Supreme War Council will be glad to know you have join with Yasukuni spirits.

Day D have been promise to HIS HIGHNESS, THE EMPEROR, for September 1st, 1942.

Just looking at the clues in Fletcher's previous post my guess is a counterstrike against the recent Allied gains in the Santa Cruz Islands.

Well nobody here is thinking about this, of course. We are only reading.....we can´t take the rifle, we are civilians

Two things:

1.- I´m lurking the forums and I´ve concluded that ground attack with aircraft planes is suicide, we will sink ships but is not worth paying the price.

2.- It is a wonderful idea on time between the Japanese supremacy and the awakening of the Allies "bring the Kitchen sink"into China, instead of waiting to see where the attack comes.
There are high quality Japanese ground troops and What is the better way to use it? Exactly, against other ground troops.
Chinese troops (bandits) are a headache for the Imperium.......Go for them & send all to hell!

Greetings.

hello Igel,

Thanks for your post! .. For sure, they will be sent to Hell !!.. and Chiang will be sent to Tokyo to be judged by war crimes against the Empire!.
About general strategy, my main target at this stage is sprint on China to gain as much ground as possible to close the frontlines and get readiness conditions for a general offensive aiming Chungking..... If Chungking falls in my hands, the British Empire and Soviet evils will paid their bills for supporting chinese bandits!

Best wishes,
Ramón

It´s possible i´m losing something but .....Isn´t it a BIG mistake to leave Sian by Chinese forces now? At least they could make you same attrition and sure they will leave the city if they are defeated

It isn´t the way he could use bandits (  ), protecting and reserving his troops, it´s no necesary.....their mission is dead & give problems to the japanese and entertain as many troops as possible.

Only my two cent´s, of course.

Cheers

Igel,

I´m not pretty sure that Jonathan´s forces at Sian were fleeing. Could seems that some chinese mauled corps (with 1 or 0 A.V.) were beeing withdrawing to rest at rearguard... But I hope to capture Sian in few days (or weeks). It´s not an easy target when more than 50 chinese units are there (33 at Sian with another 23 in the forest at southern approaches).

The fall of Sian will be a great success ... but the main target is Chungking. Be patiente, I´ll need months or one year... but the prize will worth it!.

Best wishes
Ramón

If his "poor AV units" are smashed, they apears in Chunking in 30 days....I think it could be the best way to defend the capital....if Cantona retreats  to refit these units it´s not the correct direction and simply the amount of squads by month isn´t enough.......he must go to the NW (is faster).... Oh heavens.... your troops are there too! You are ubiquitous

Well, it is possible he is trying to create a screen against the advances  threatening  Chunking.

Greetings

igel,

His smashed units will reappears at Chunking at 30% TOE (and he need chinese pools -not squads, but needs arty, HMGs, etc..-,ready for that! and remember about Experience and Moral about this reemplacement troops.. They will be poor)... For the other hand, I am confident with Jonathan´s abilities. He´s a smart AFB, veteran (and very reliable!) player. He have to take hard decissions at China due the hard IJA offensive, and chinese are poorly supplied.

Western Offensive at China have like secondary target to avoid chinese bases to be ressuplied by western powers from flights from Northern India.

Probably he can argue about this matter better than me... It´s only my humble oppinion.

Best wishes.
Ramón

TO: MARQUIS KIDO, LORD KEEPER OF PRIVAL SEAL. IMPERIAL PALACE.
SUBJECT: SIAN AND TUYUN CITIES CAPTURED
DATE: AUGUST 9TH,1942

I AM VERY PROUD TO ANNOUNCE TWO GREAT VICTORIES OF OUR IMPERIAL FORCES AT CHINA THEATRE. THE TIME SPENT WAS WORTHY!...

TODAY, GENERAL SHUNROKU HATA HAVE ENTERS ON THE CITY OF SIAN, DESTROYING ENEMY RESISTANCE. SEVERAL AMERICANS AND BRITISH ADVISORS HAVE BEEN CAPTURED AND WILL BE SENT TO UNIT 751 AT MANCHUKUO TO PAY THE PRICE LIKE CHINESE SPIES OR SOLDIERS OF FORTUNE.

WITH A LOW PRICE, 840 IJA MEN LOST (61 SQUADS DESTROYED), NORTHERN CHINA AREA ARMY HAVE REPORTED 17.147 ENEMY CASUALTIES (WITH 1.394 BANDITS SQUADS DESTROYED). ONE ENEMY CORPS WAS DESTROYED WITH MANY OTHERS SCATTERED BY THE WIND. 23 ENEMY GROUND UNITS ARE ENCLOSED IN THE SOUTHERN APPROACHES AND ALL AVAILABLE FORCES WILL WORKS TO CAPTURE THEM LIKE A PRIZE FOR OUR EMPEROR !

AT SIAN, 280 CHINESE FACTORIES HAVE CHANGED OF HANDS. NOW IN THE CORRECT SIDE.

IN THE SOUTH, LTGEN IMMAMURA´S XVI ARMY HAVE ENTERS AT TUYUN CITY. 614 IJA MEN WERE LOST (13 SQUADS DESTROYED) WITH 5.694 CHINESE KILLED OR PRISIONERS (556 ENEMY SQUADS DESTROYED). THE CITY HAVE FALLEN IN OUR HANDS, AND XVI ARMY IS NEAR 500 MILES SOUTH OF CHUNGKING. NOTHING WILL STOP US.

TODAY WILL NOT FORGIVEN FOR THE GLORY OF IMPERIAL ARMY AND OUR HIGHNESS THE EMPEROR....

CHINESE PRISIONERS HAVE TWO WAYS:

- PAY HOMAGE TO THE EMPEROR, GETTING SERVICE LIKE WORKERS IN OUR FORTIFICATIONS IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN.

- BE PUNISHED BY WAR CRIMES AGAINST THE EMPIRE LIKE CHIANG-KAI-CHEK´S BANDITS BANG.

TOMORROW THEIR DESTINY WILL BE SEAL. THEY PAID THE PRICE TO ARISE HANDS AGAINST THE EMPIRE!.

LONG LIVE TO THE EMPEROR !!
BANZAIIII ! BANZAIII ! BANZAIII !

TO: GEN. HAJIME SUGIYAMA, IJA GENERAL STAFF CHIEF. IGHQ. TOKYO
SUBJECT: CHINA SUMMER OFFENSIVE REPORT
DATE: AUGUST 13RD, 1942

Several storms over enemy positions at China in all fronts, like bellow:

- Sian´s Northern Area Army forces have smashed 40th Chinese Corps nearby to the City. Enemy have surrender with 7.436 enemy casualties (5.296 squads destroyed with 54 guns eliminated).

- In The South, XVI Army forces have smashed enemy resistance in the other side of the river. 1.400 IJA casualties (10 squads destroyed) was the price vs 3.978 chineses killed or prisioners (362 enemy squads destroyed).

- In the Western approaches, XV Army have reported another 859 chinese casualties with 54 enemy squads destroyed vs. 1.004 IJA men lost (2 squads destroyed).

-In the Southern Sian, our forces have press on to avoid enemy escape from our trap. In the clash, IJA lost 17.832 men (only 94 squads destroyed) vs. 5.255 chinese casualties (26 squads destroyed).

Today, Chiank-Kai-Chek bandits bangs have 1.000 squad less to fight against the myth and power of the Imperial Japanese Army. Doesn´t matter the price to pay.. At last, China will be under his knees and we´ll be another annexed province.

LONG LIVE TO THE EMPEROR!
