Anybody else notice this?

I get a report that a coastwatcher has spotted a ship and I immediately hear a "Bang" like a shot has been fired.

I've only really noticed this since the latest patch.

It's no big thing but it makes me laugh everytime I hear it because I envision the guy sitting out on the beach, bored out of his mind, slamming palm wine coolers and plinking at passing IJN ships with his .303:D

Amusing image... :) Could this have been a mine hit, a coastal defense shot, etc?
