Bedtime. I'll leave you with a resounding **** YOU, FEBRUARY 2011! BURN IN EVERY IMAGINABLE HELL FROM NOW UNTIL 7 MINUTES PAST ETERNITY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm with you on that one.

And me as well.

Hope that all the ills my fellow Threadsters faced this month will be made up for with interest in March.

Morning tithe, hope you guys are having a good one. I am still in hospital getting tests, as they haven't found the cause of my condition yet. But the good news is that they are treating me for the symptoms, and I am coming back to health.

My heart goes out though for those poor people of Christchurch, and I hope that life is getting a little easier for them. We have a lot people from Christchurch that have been brought to the hospital here in Dunedin, and they are telling of some real horror stories.

Our family have been real luck, and all the relatives in Christchurch are accounted for. My nephew was injured though getting a crashed foot, and a badly smashed up knee. He is in Dunedin hospital with me, and has had to have four operations on his legs. So I am spending most of my time with him, as he is confined to bed with both legs in plaster.

Des.

Take care Des. Also, as CB said, sympathies to your nephew.

Another post I will wholeheartedly add myself to.

Note to self; Try to avoid February 2001's in the future.

Ooh...a very metaphysical / Schroeder-inspired humor quip! I likee.

Hmmm ... just realized I typo'ed a "1". Should be 2011. Statement still valid though

I mistyped mine too. Shoulda been "Schroedinger" not "Schroeder".

I understood you anyway

I thought that guy only did silly tricks with cats.

Peanut Butter
Roasted Peanuts
Peanut Sauce
Kung Pao Chicken (or Shrimp)
Peanut Logs
Peanut Brittle

These are all examples of excellent ways to serving and eating peanuts. Note: Boiled Peanuts are not on my list. I may be southern born and southern bred, but I never developed a taste for boiled peanuts. "biled peanuts' is a better description IMO.

then you certainly remember dropping a hand full into an ice cold coka cola, eh? i think we southerners are taught that one just after weening...

Ouch.

Just a very difficult work day. About to grab some food, and start the second half.

Lil dudes won 2 of 3.....very good match for us to play against....lost to them in the tournament final in Jan, 4-3....all 3 games this weekend were 1 goal difference. Got to chat spring training baseball with a future hall of fame pitcher for a few minutes, too. The Atlanta team's head coach..... Tom Glavine.

In fact, that's why I didn't get to the turn Saturday night. Spent 5 hours drinking in the hotel lobby.

Yeah, but I didn't like it. I'm not really a cola fan (rarely drink them) and I'm definitely not fond of soggy peanuts!
