day two of useless training

I've been out of touch for most of the last several days. What kind of useless training are you being subjected to, Nik?

The training for the replacement job they think i'm going to be doing next week.

Let them fire you so you can collect unemployment benefits while you hunt for a new job!

I think that must be the best sigline ever. Now I shall hunt through the vastness of the internets(TM) to come up with something clever and funny too.

I'm not allowed the sigline I wanted

Tell us what it was then

I'm getting worried, Mrs Dixie is making dinner but she's closed the serving hatch so I can't see into the kitchen.  I hope she isn't putting poison in my pancakes

Its a terrible plan. I'm sure that having you keel over at elevensies would count as hors de combat for the purpose of your military life ins policy.

Dunno. What might pass as a reason to the female mind would be a mere trifle to the intellectually superior male mind. Watching football instead of Celebrity Dancing on Ice or a nice programme about fluffy kittens may be enough to send them over the edge...

Youre right. I come from a land where (at least for general consumption) Newcastle is considered extraordinary.

Edit: BTW, its quite unsporting of you to pretend not to have gotten the joke since I'm sure that you know that Pedigree is a dog food on this side of the lake.

Foolproof! If she gives them to the dog then they're clearly not poisoned and all I have to do is fight the dog for them.
