Have just finished packing for my upcoming vacation. Leaving for the Canary Islands tomorrow evening. Gone until next Friday. Will drop in and say hello if I find an Internet computer somewhere handy.

Good night friends.

I wondered what happened to my dental floss.

My apologies to your teeth, but I think that this is a much better use for it.

I agree.

Anyway, TTFIFF!

Warspite1

What picture?

I thought it was a nun with a gun or a naked animal.

The original Thread got locked after what appeared to be a partially unclad nun photo was posted. However, the mod could have just deleted the photo and then temporarily banned the person who posted the nun.

The mod stated that he was locking the whole Thread up since there had been something like 20 photos of young women in various states of undress (i.e. bikinis and such), and that the forum was supposed to be "family oriented": such posting were not appropriate.

So, agree or disagree, it probably behooves us to clean up our act... i suspect if the moderator who locked up the original Thread was around to view the various "Nick Carter" photos, it would have been locked.

We are probably skating on thin ice: if one of the Thread detractors was to see the photos, he could probably make a complaint and maybe make it stick... especially of the one with the tan young thing above. i am guessing the Mods don't see or monitor much of the forum unless complaints are made.

Well put my friend, well put. So what has T, or anybody who would lock said thread , have against pretty girls?

Would it make any odds if the picture was of Per in his Speedos (Euro thing, I know) with his arm around this esthetically pleasing creation of nature?

Pretty banner. I like the dolphins. They are much "cuter" than USN dolphins.

Oh yeah? Say that to his face.

BTW, since Erik is here, I thought it a shame that me missed my discussion of Joyce Jonathan. I wont speak to her musical prowess (since I'm sure you think she's just as annoying as I think American pop stars are) but she's definitely very pretty.

I watch it when I can. Spain is definitely tight. We must meet sometime, John. I think we would have a great conversation about good food.

Hard disk died. The annoyances of technology.

Watched Taken tonight with the wife. Not a bad movie. I do hate it when the hero seems impervious to clips full of 10mm submachine gun ammo, but it does bring attention to the very real and vicious trade in women.

Watch "Knight and Day" with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Surprisingly good movie. Kind of an action comedy.

Yeah, it's quite exciting to sit here with all the little kids from their day camp screaming over their lunch, while my son skates with a coach, having a lesson.

Thank THREAD for the forums to keep my sanity!

But then there's the search for fish markets. One of the really important things in life. TomLabel is coming to visit so I gotta find some fish. Some fresh mullet, butterflied for smoking, Spanish makerel, fresh caught red snapper, small body grouper, and (the holy grail) pompano.

Life is good on Mobile Bay. Air is great, and people actually race Finns!! So joined a Yacht Club and am having a ball. Also found Southern Seafood & Oyster Company, just across the bridge, in Mobile. Only thing is I have to fight the owner for pompano; he wants it all, himself. Getting settled in and sanity is a good word for what I see around here. Next door is Alabama, other side is Auburn, two down is LSU, and then there's a GA Bulldog just on the left.

Gonna have to get a Gator flag to annoy and irritate the neighbors. Maybe I should get a Redwings flag and really confuse them. Ciao. John

My Aunt owns a Victorian style house in Fairhope. I really like that area. I have some very fond memories of playing around Fort Morgan as a kid.

I'm just trying to figure out why that oversized plaque is sitting atop the bench at such an awkward angle.

I think its just an over reaction. This is simply a picture of a young lady, who, having taken the inadvisable decision to run up a slippery, rock strewn beach, trips on one of the aforementioned rocks. Fortunately however, and with all the grace of a gazelle, she manages to avoid serious injury - and indeed can laugh at her elementary mistake whilst falling. Luckily for us red-blooded chaps, whilst in the process of careering a*** over t**, her skirt happened to catch on a piece of beach debris, and - in the time honoured tradition of WWII's Jane - her clothing fell off.

warspite, dear chap-these were my thoughts as well. Clearly the elevated foot is an expression of pain. Perhaps she stepped on an urchin, the poor urchin. No matter. I'm a doctor. Trust me while I have a look.

Poor skills from the RN at Cardiff today   I'm a believer in the Help for Heroes campaign, but wearing the wristbands with your number 1 uniform is a big no-no.
