I think its just an over reaction. This is simply a picture of a young lady, who, having taken the inadvisable decision to run up a slippery, rock strewn beach, trips on one of the aforementioned rocks. Fortunately however, and with all the grace of a gazelle, she manages to avoid serious injury - and indeed can laugh at her elementary mistake whilst falling. Luckily for us red-blooded chaps, whilst in the process of careering a*** over t**, her skirt happened to catch on a piece of beach debris, and - in the time honoured tradition of WWII's Jane - her clothing fell off.

warspite, dear chap-these were my thoughts as well. Clearly the elevated foot is an expression of pain. Perhaps she stepped on an urchin, the poor urchin. No matter. I'm a doctor. Trust me while I have a look.

Poor urchin indeed.

Personally, i have no objection to scantily clad animals of any form on the Thread EXCEPT THAT IT MIGHT GET THE THREAD CLOSED DOWN.

We might even occassionally mention the game.

They were originally adverse to having this happen and we probably all remember attacks on the Thread from people not posting here how this is not related to the "core statement" of the forum... and from the responses of the forum members, it struck a nerve.

So, if someone got sufficiently annoyed, they could close the whole thing down... i am not saying that they will, but realize you are playing with fire here and you/we might get burnt.

Personally, i have no objection to scantily clad animals of any form on the Thread EXCEPT THAT IT MIGHT GET THE THREAD CLOSED DOWN.

OK, you've conviced me. We should refrain from posting anything with girls,animals,sports,politics,religion,news, or any thing of importance that might somehow offend someone, somehow ,somewhere. So lets go back to the usual mindless drivel, stay with wishing each other "good morning" or "good day" , or "How's the weather". Surely no one will be offended by that. We might even occassionally mention the game.

Family friendly, Steve. That's all the forum admins asked of us. As much as I admire the cutie on the rocks (quite a bit actually) the pic is probably borderline for the family friendly guidelines.

I'm not disagreeing with you Mike. But I reserve the right to lament. And complain.

Besides, who gets to pick the family? Why does it have to be the Waltons? Why not the Corleones? Or the Soprano's? Or even the Simpsons? They are families too!

IMO there's nothing wrong with that pic too make it family unfriendly, certainly no worse than some of the avatars and sig banners out there on the forums. It's another symptom of the world we live in, too worried about offending someone, somewhere. I also realise that it's not my forum and someone else makes the rules and sometimes that is going to involve some compromise on my part.

In fact, in my opinion it show that we are in a world of hypocrisy.

We should not show a nice girl unclad. We shall not let thought about love or sexual pleasure.
We shall also not speak about politics subject.
We shall hide everything and anything.

But the entire world lie: politician lie to their people or people of others country, they sell weapons in secret, they give power to great industry to polute our world, to poison us, they admit a financial crisis that lead people to starve, to die of disease, to work for too few money, to look at their children diying of lack of food; we are in a world were a simple word about religion can kill, or where young people in gang kill to sell drugs, or kill just for the fun.
We are in a garbage world.
But we shall not show a girl in bikini.
