The pdf manual refers HQ Unit Supply Buildup to section 20.7.1, there is no such section.

Sorry forgot the page. Page 184 in section 12.2.5

Two more (references are to the ebook version):

Page 23, Unit Box Type -- Second line references section 27.1.2 (should be 26.1.2)

Page 54, first complete paragraph, second line -- Says jump map is hotkey j, per page 24 hotkey is Shift-J (hmm, maybe that's why I couldn't get the display).

ebook, page 95, 5.4.11.3, eighth from last line -- The rules cross reference is shown as (s15.8) vice simply the rule number. Also, there are two periods at the end of the sentence.

Is there a sticky tab somewhere to report discrepancies in the manual?

Just do so in this thread for now, it makes it easier to keep track of the reported errors.

ebook, page 128, rule 7, second line -- Is "Combat and headquarters, units are on-map units." Delete the comma.

ebook, page 136, 7.5.2, fourth line -- Is "...though only to a battle that combat unit is a participant." Wording is confusing. Recommend inserting "in which" (or "where") after "battle."

Page references are to the ebook.

Page 174, 11.3, second line – Missing a period after “turn.”

Page 208, 15.3.2.6, first line – “he” should be “the.”

Page 230, 16.2.3, last line – I think the grammar police would tell you that “effect” is a more proper use here than “affect.”

Page references are to the ebook.

Page 239, 17.1.2, next to last line – Should "unit" be inserted after "combat"?

Page 240, 17.1.4, second line – Spacing is wonky, there is insufficient spacing between the rules reference (end of sentence) and the next sentence (beginning with "Partisans").

Page 243, 18.1.1.2, next to last paragraph – Insert "as" after "map."

Page 248, 18.2.3, first paragraph, first sentence – Should this read "In order for units to receive replacement ground elements, or alternatively for ground elements built from armaments points, there must be sufficient armament points in the pool to build the devices associated with that type of ground element?" If so, there is some extra wording on the first line. If not, I have no idea what this is trying to say.

Page references are to the ebook.

Page 250, 18.2.4, second line – Replace “that” with “to which.”

Page 259, Rule 20, third line – Move the comma after “ammo” to appear after “fuel.”

Page 265, first paragraph, seventh line, last word – Typo, “in” vice “iln.”

Page 265, 20.2.2, next to last line – “effects” vice “affects.”

Page 269, 20.4.3.2, seventh line – “A unit” should be “a unit.”

Page references are to the ebook.

Page 270, 20.4.4, second line (beginning of second sentence) – “Air base units” should be “An air base unit” (subject-verb agreement with rest of sentence).

Page 270, 20.5, second paragraph, last line – Missing a period at the end of the paragraph.

Page 272, Rule 21, second line – “Sides” be “side’s.”

Page 290, 22.3.1, fifth line – “(Once…” should be “(once….”

Page 294, 23.3.4, second line – “impacts” should be “impact.”

Page 299, 25.1.1, second line – “re-creation” vice “recreation.” (although “recreation” might best describe the player’s reactions).

Page 299, 25.1.1, Supply paragraph, first line – Suggest changing “offense” to “offensive.”

Page 299, 25.1.1, Adminstration Points paragraph, first line – Delete the comma after “APs.”

Page 300, first line – “way need” should be “will need.”

Page references are to the ebook.

Page 300, 25.1.2, second line – The comma would be better placed after “rear.”

Page 300, 25.1.2, Leningrad paragraph, fourth line – The “…move as much of your heavy artillery, reserves…north to aid in this assault.” is incomplete. “as much as necessary”? or possibly delete “as” (so it reads “move much of your…”).

Page 300, 25.1.2, Moscow paragraph, second line – Delete the dash from “Soviet-Counter offensive.” Also, should standardize how to present “counter offensive.” It’s used as a single word, as two words and as a hyphened word. Search for “counter” to see the various uses/locations.

Page 302, Reserves can Make You or Break You paragraph, second and third lines – Should read “…care should be taken when assigning units with a morale lower than 55 to reserve status as they are more susceptible….”

In ebook on page 43, the Damaged Rail line hex repair segment refers to section 14.2.1.1. There is no such section (should probably be 14.2.2.1).

Section 9.5.4 has twice the section number written (p. 170 in ebook).

Also, typo in section 14.1.2: allowance is spelled "allownance".

14.2.1.1 is referenced several times throughout the e-book for rail repair. It should be 14.2.2

In the Movement Cost Table, it says the Mountain Infantry Divisions pay 3 MPs in mountain terrain. Actually all Mountain Infantry units pay 3 MPs, not just divisions.

A few things have come up in a thread i started about DIFFICULTY TO UNDERSTAND SUPPLY

I think the MANUAL might need some corrections on theese 4 points...

pg 115. (5.4.26.3) TURN SUPPLY DETAIL (NON-HQ UNITS):

1.
' SUPPLIES RECIEVED (X %) Tons of supplies recieved in each of the two supply delivery sub segments. The percentage is the total amount
of supplies recieved against required supplies.'

maybe change that to something like:

SUPPLIES RECIEVED (X %) Tons of supplies recieved in each of the two supply delivery sub segments. The percentage is the supply level in
unit befor recieving any supply.

2.
' FUEL RECIEVED (X %) Tons of fuel recieved in each of the two supply delivery sub segments. The percentage is the total amount
of fuel recieved against required fuel.'

maybe change that to something like:

FUEL RECIEVED (X %) Tons of fuel recieved in each of the two supply delivery sub segments. The percentage is the fuel level in
unit befor recieving any fuel.

pg 114. (5.4.26.2) TURN SUPPLY DETAIL (HQ UNITS):

3.
'HQ SUPPLY %: The percentage of required supplies for attached units that the HQ was able to deliver in each of the two supply delivery sub-segments.'

maybe change that to something like:

The percentage of supplies the HQ have in its supply dumps to be able to deliver 100 % of needed supplies to its attached units.

pg 115. (5.4.26.2) TURN SUPPLY DETAIL (HQ UNITS):

4.
'HQ FUEL %: The percentage of required fuel for attached units that the HQ was able to deliver in each of the two supply delivery sub-segments.'

maybe change that to something like:

The percentage of fuel the HQ have in its fuel dumps to be able to deliver 100 % of needed fuel to its attached units.

Thanks...

I noticed on the game map "impassible lake or river" - it should be "impassable" on the map key.
I know you spell things differently in the US but I would say, on the same subject, it should be "National Capital" not National Capitol" but I am happy to be corrected on that.

8.1.5.1. MANUAL AIRCRAFT SWAPS

Changing the aircraft model in an air group unit will expend one admin point, reduce the air group unit experience level by two and may result in up to thirty percent of the new aircraft becoming damaged

When I have manually upgraded a aircraft in Beta 3 version 1&2 the experience loss has been as high as 15 points. I haven't checked the whats new pdf though.

Is this WAD?

The printed manual has only chapters 1 to 7 while the e-manual has chapters 1 to 28.

Printed manual covers only 1/3 of the first pages.

Newly discovered rules:

1) Naval supply can be blocked by naval interdiction.

2) Naval interdiction cannot be projected from Captured ports (so a captured Riga cannot shut down Kuressare, however Kuressare could block the Axis from getting supplies into Riga).

3) If the effective port value is reduced to less than one due to damage, then supplies may not be sent through that port. However, the port damage is reduced by 10% before the supply phase. Only the smallest ports would have a value less than one after the 10% reduction in damage.

4) Combat values of attacking units are divided by 8 during mud.

Section 26.2 The year these units can be created is there but no month. it would be greatly helpful if we knew what month these new units will be available so that we could plan in advance.

Message for Apollo11

A more clear re-write of the Air Doctrine screen explanation may be necessary.

I have provided a clearer explanation at witewiki.

However I feel the current explanation is difficult for native English speakers to understand, let alone non native speakers.

Need to mention the red X that gets placed in the game option screen in items that have not been selected and may not be changed (cannot change thesae settings once a 2 player game has been started). Section 3.3.3

While translating the manual in french (see: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2731858&mpage=1&key= )

I found some issues:
- p 67, 5.3.4 : the "gameplay info" at the bottom of the amphibious transport mode description refer to the next section 5.3.5 Air recon mode
- p 77 and after, 5.4.2 : the "permanent losses" column descrption might be divided in the subsequent three sub-columns
- p 81, 5.4.3.5 : the "supply stores" is misplaced and not in bold
- p 85, 5.4.5.1 : the right and left side of the screen are reversed in the description
- p 90, 5.4.9 : reference to Appendix C is incorrect (section 26.3 and not 28.3)
- p 101, 5.4.14 and in the next sections : the title of the 'supply status' descritption is missing.
- p 116, 5.4.26.1 reference to 'Supply buildup' is incorrect: (20.6) and not (20.7)
- p 117, 5.4.26.3 'Range to HQ' same as 'MP to HQ'... should be: 'Number of hexes....'
- p 119, ASSIGN/FORM, replace 'headquarters' by 'town, city and urban hexes'
