Hi Matrix Guys,

Just thought I'd let you know, but you may have already tried to rectify this. I run 5.60.50b and am playing a grand campaign with my friend. On two occasions now I have been givien a Typhoon air attack and both times it has crashed the game. Sadly for my friend it has happened when he has been giving me a pasting - in the latest case last night, he had just wiped out the Irish Guards armour with no loss. Needless to say, when we rebooted I had a Spitfire attack and no crash and I destroyed all his amour. Obviously, he was not happy...

Not sure if you can fix that, and I did not record the exact conditionds when it happened before but I am 100% certain it was a Typhoon that caused it.

One other thing which upset the balance of the campaign a bit was that a US parachute bge I had at St Oedenrode were allocated over 1000 battlegroup points. I am sure that wasn't correct... I am playing as veteran but I don't have any screen captures.

Keep up the good work.

Tim

Thanks for bringing it to our attention timoshuk. Can you provide the latest saved game file? That will give us the rest of the important information. Thanks. Have you tried 51b yet? I know an air strike CTD during MP bug was reported and fixed before so it may already be addressed in 51b already. A MP points bug has been addressed in 51b as well. Will check on our end to be certain these have both been addressed but thought I'd recommend it to you.

Was your GC started with 50b installed and no modding or anything else done?

Hi Oddball,

Sorry I can't see where to attach the save file.
The games were patched before starting the campaign and have not been modified.

My friend rang me this morning. He was still p****d off.

We will be trying out the new patch when this campaign is over.

You can attach a file if you click the orange button at the bottom of each thread that says "Post reply". At the next screen there is an option below the text entry field for adding attachments. Thanks for the info on the patch. These issues were addressed for 51b so you might give that a try. I'll go ahead and put your information into our bug database anyway so we have it on record. Thanks.

Please do pass along the saved game file.

Hey timoshuk. I checked with our lead developer and he tried to repro the crash and it worked just fine for him without error. He suggested it could possibly be an issue that was reported previously that was a result of the host and client getting out of sync. This issue was fixed in 51b so the recommendation is you install the most recent update. Let us know if that fixes it. Thanks.
