7 players have gathered to play a PBEM game using the 1792 Campaign game created in the Editor.

Note: This 1792 Campaign Game is based as much as possible on the 1792 Campaign published in the General Magazine.(“Vive La Revolution” General Vol 25, No. 4)

Time:
The game begins in April 1792 and ends after the March 1802 turn.

We began play on April 21, 2010.

Starting Conditions:
Starting Wars and Alliances:
France is at war with Austria and Prussia
Austria and Prussia are allied.
Russia and Spain are allied.
Russia and Turkey just concluded a war, and they have an enforced peace with each other prior to July 1973.

Control:
Austria: Flanders, Liege, Luxemburg and Venetia as conquered minors and Breisgau Lombardy, and Piedmont as minor Free States. West Galicia is NOT part of Austria but part of Poland
Spain: Parma as conquered minor and Naples and Sicily as Free States
GB: Gibraltar as conquered minor and Hanover Hesse as minor Free States
Prussia: Ansbach Minus Posen and Masovia which are part of Poland
France: Home Nation and Corsica
Russia: Home nation minus Lithuania, Polesia, Volhynia and Podolia which are part of Poland
Turkey: Imertia Syria and Egypt as Free states
Poland is a neutral minor country consisting of Posen and Masovia, West Galicia, Lithuania, Volhynia, Polesia and Podolia

France, Austria, and Prussia agree to an informal peace!

Alliances are formed:
GB and Turkey ally.
Prussia and GB ally.
Austria and Turkey ally.

DOWs:
Austria: Bavaria and Modena
Prussia: Thuringia And Saxony
Russia: Circassia and Poland
France: Switzerland
Turkey: Tunisia
GB: Berg Oldenburg, and Munster
Spain: Papacy and Romagna

Central Europe (April 1792 Land Phase):

GB: Hanover Corps heads to Munster, Hesse to Berg, and the British Cavalry sails in and takes Oldenburg.
Prussia: Brunswick takes a few Corps and begins besieging Dresden while another Prussian Corps is sent to take Thuringia.
France: DOWs Switzerland and moves several Corps and begins besieging Zurich.
Austria: Mack and Wurmser both move in, besiege Munich, and take the city in a bloody siege.

Spain: Naples Corps(run by Spain) takes Romagna while a Spanish Corps sails into Rome and takes the Papacy.

Austria: Moves into Modena and takes the city.

Poland:

In 1792 Poland covers a huge territory consisting of Posen and Masovia, West Galicia, Lithuania, Volhynia, Polesia and Podolia.

Russia DOWs Poland and the French take control as a Free State.

Suvorov begins to move his Corps towards the capital of Warsaw.

Mediterranean:

GB: The British sail a Corps in and take Sardinia.

Turkey: The Turks under Achmed Pasha sail to Tunisia.

Eh, I guess I always felt that was one of the fun parts of the 1792 game.... starting at war.

I'm with Neverman on this one, although it does not look like Yearworld's game is boring. That complete desperation as France in 1792 at war with everyone is a fun challenge.

Suvorov defeats Poland in a battle opening the way to Warsaw.

Battle: Russia vs. Poland (sorry no screenshot of battle).

Suvorov leads the Russian forces on behalf of Russia's Targowica Confederation allies to a victory over the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and its army led by Jozef Poniatowski.

Been awhile since I posted and some major things have happened in this game.

Austria, Prussia, and Spain have DOW France. In the early part of the war Dumouriez took Liege and Luxembourg and began besieging Brussels while a combined Austrian and Prussian army under Mack took French owned Palatinate and Baden then moved to rescue Brussels.

Meanwhile a combined Spanish-Austrian army under the command of de la Union in Italy took Savoy while another Spanish army under Ruby moved into Southern France.

In June, Piedmont ran from Zurich to Paris and with some luck rolling broke the garrison there and took Paris.

France has surrendered conditionally to Austria, Spain, and Prussia. Austria gains Switzerland, Spain gets 24 months of peace from France and Prussia gains 1/2 reparations.
