Hello All,

This thread is being created for the anticipated release of my next mod:

modifications are largely based out of - Super AI mod but with a massive twist:

- You can only play as Humans
- There are 6 Shakturi and 6 Mechinoid races, they very much hate each other, but love the same race.
- Mechinoid are allowed to expand
- There are a few other races that are "neutral"
- pirates come from all races including Mechinoid.
- Mining is reduced (!) from vanilla this should lead to resource wars.
- other stats are the same as super AI


Feedback and hype welcome, the release should be out in the next 24hours :)

Interesting idea. I like variety and as much races as possible but this promises increased difficulty so I'll give it a go.

small up date

im still working on this, finding some bugs:

1) im finding that i cannot fix races to have the same race ID, the game simply doesnt start maps - ill fix this by hacking up ship images
2) the names of the races are at random, along with this, its hard to see who is friend and who is foe - need to clean up race faces.


Once i get these two out of the way, we'll have the release!


also ive found that, you need to have a race assigned as "can be played by human" flag set to Y - otherwise it doesn't spawn in game when you create a map - im putting in a bug report to Elliot to fix this.

next couple of days ill be there..
