Ok looking for some suggestions
Time is early feb 42
I usually use Sardaukar's suggested setup for noobs on all my games for first turn.
This is where im at and not sure what moves i should make as i dont want to rush, because the war wasnt won in 1 turn/day/week/month/etc

1) this game i moved all TB's from Sing to Moresby, shifted alot of fighters there, stock supply/fuel,got lucky with some troops from HK makin it there with Cebu,Cavite, and bataan usn base force. Also shipped some p39's there from usa along with some infantry,CD,arty and support from usa.
So PM is pretty strong right now, even turned away a cv tf that tried to attack, my TB's got in a few hits, and even sunk a cve. With 170 fighters there this early with decent exp,i am holding air superiority there.

I kept getting as much fuel and supplies out of Palembang and balikpapan shipped to Soerabaja as i could building up Batavia and Soerabaja, before the 2 cv tf's hit me,,soerabaja is built up real nice right now.

Singapore and manilla are still holding out but supplies are running low and should fall soon i would guess.
Japan is hitting Celebes hard but my TF with 3 CL's and 3 DD"s are hitting every stop they make to land and causing them grief. They are not getting alot of troops on the ground there, and are losing a whole bunch of AK's/AKL's/and AP's

Looks like japan has ground forces moving towards Pegu about 5 hexes away so this may be trouble for me over there, after the intial setups i am finding it tough to get troops over there past Chittagong

Now what ive done is send Bombers and fighters to australia, they have been training there for some time now, where i need advice is with all the troops in the usa i have.

Noumea,and Suva.
Do i send more troops there? It is supplied and building.I dont see a imediate threat but maybe Japan will feel froggy since they arent getting PM.

Australia
Do i start sending Manpower there? If i remember correctly, Mac was running his show out of Melbourne , So do i start floating troops and support to Aus at this point?

Most my fighting is around Banda and Celebes sea's and since the Wake thing didnt work out for japan as i took a chance and held my carriers around there, every attempt to land they have been sunk.

I just gotta figure out where to start shipping these Troops and would like some input.
Thanks

If you're playing against a human player, PM, Luganville, and Noumea can be easily overwhelmed by the enemy, so you're asking for trouble if you over commit too far forward. If you're playing against the AI, you're probably fine defending forward. You don't have to worry about Oz or India in those cases. You can choose more forward bases like the ones you mentioned - garrison them strongly and build the airfields as quickly as possible. It's still too early for you to be contemplating massive offensives, but by late 1942 you should have enough to pick and choose some major invasions in the Pacific island region.

so since its a AI game,i can start reinforcing from the westcoast?
Probably to late now to enforce alot of the said bases since,Japan is narrowing in on em, but im looking to not get knocked back to pearl, and was wondering where i should put all these avail troops.

Aus, all theve done was send BB TF around townsville and brisbane but a ran them off by intercepting with some CA's/CL's and a bunch of DD's, only 1 CL lost by  me cuzz it got torpedoed headin back to Brisbane,,sure alot of damaged ships but sunk 1 BB and 24 shell hits on the other. So yea AUS is ok for now.

When you said i dont have to worry about india in this case, does that mean it's not defensible?

Outside of the Ironman scenario AI scripts, the AI doesn't try to invade India or Australia. As to where you should put your arriving troops. deciding that is part of the fun of the game. Pick a defense line, pick a strategic framework, and go from there.

Be sure you understand stacking limits on islands, however. Some islands you want to hold may not be able to support very many defenders.

Lexo, you probably are ready for a real dance at this point.

Against the AI, be agressive, but in force.

ok gotcha,,i wasnt sure how aggressive, the AI was going to be and didnt want to let them catch me with my pants down.
since PM is gtg,and i feel comfortable with my defenses in Java and Sumatra, i reckon then i should start to deploy towards Noumea and suva for future movements.
Thanks for the info

That is not entirely true...some of the AI scripts are bit more aggressive. I have had Australia invaded, but that was DaBigBabes game, still using stock scripts for IJ AI though.
