Is there a minimum supply level in order to use drop tanks? I have a base with double supply and aircraft that have been using drop tanks P40E. I flew them to an island using drop tanks and seem to be stuck there.

IIRC it is both device availability and supply 3x (minimum of 20K). Check the editor on availability dates / amounts.

CORRECTION - checked devices...they dont have availability dates.

Actually there is availability dates for some early models.

And yes, you need enough supply to use Drop Tanks, I think double, otherwise option is greyed out.

Note too that when you send in the planes they will increase the supply requirement of the base. So you can fly someone in, the base requirement goes up, and they can't get the drop tanks to fly back.

Purely a theoretical comment of course, I'm sure I've never made that mistake myself.
