Hi all,

Snow from yesterday melted and the sun's out here. It would be nicer if it weren't 45 bleedin' degrees F, but I'm not picky.

Snow?!?!?!

We here have blue skies, sun and +25 degrees Centigrade for days... spring in its fullest...

Leo "Apollo11"

And Chickenboy lives in Minnesota, which along with Wisconsin is the icebox of the lower 48 US states.

22 degrees here, clear skies and sun. Bad time for me to get my midlife crisis.

You forgot to add North Dakota to that list...

I know that he is from Minnesota... but it is end of April... I didn't expect snow at that time of the year for him... end of March OK but April...

Leo "Apollo11"

So? Average temps in the Twin Cities in April is about 6-7 degrees Centigrade. Not far from that to snow.

It's the beer that made american beer taste good in comparison, excepting Schaeffer, PBR, Schlitz, any Miller product, Pearl, Buckhorn, Red White & Blue, Mickey's, Busch, Olympia, Coors and Coors Light, Red Dog, Keystone, Milwaukee's Best, Old Milwaukee, Colt 45, Genesee, Bohemia, Lone Star, Voodoo, Rolling Rock . . . well pretty much all of it.

Hi all,

Glad there was a post in the general discussions about today being the day that Skynet takes over. Had completely forgotten about humanity being destroyed/slightly miffed.

It's funny seeing the dates that old movies are set in passing by and comparing the expected vs. rl results of civilization.
I'm still waiting for my freaking jet car.

Is there a "good" time to get your midlife crisis? I'd say that a beautiful Spring day is an ideal time to get your crisis on. Find ya a nice Danish lady, a candy apple red Porsche-need I go further?

Oh Mike...just because you see it in a catalog doesn't mean that's all that's available. Maybe if you bought stock paint jobs [shudders].

You go to Porsche with a million Euros and ask for a 'candy apple red' 911. You'll get a 'candy apple red' 911, big guy.

I thought a mid-life crisis was when you lost a carrier or two, and to get-over it I normally have a good cry on Mrs Divepac's shoulder.

Dear Sir,

Your application for a midlife crisis has been denied. Our records show you have lived less than 40 years, which is the minimum age at which we consider dispensing our midlife crisis package of angst and consumerism.

Please check back in about ten years and we will be happy to ship you a full complement of our Midlife Mayhem© products.

Sincerely,

The Management

Well, from what I remember all the chick in the apocalyptic future were pretty hot. So I guess its a tradeoff.
