Actually according to the first Terminator movie, it should have happened in 1997. According to Terminator 3, it should have happened in 2004. Today is from the Sara Connor Chronicles.

I always thought Terminator 3 was the second-worst film. It really abandoned its core principle.

I think that the whole series is great in the concept but every next part is less scary.
First one made a great impression on me. The vision of the dark future was so imaginative for me. Second part was good, but the T-800 didn't kill anybody so it wasn't so scary. (I assume it was about age ratings in US cinemas)
Third one was just interesting and with nice FX. Fourth was full of absurds.

Hasta la vista, baby.

First two parts were good, third one sucked, didn't even know there was a fourth movie.

I hated the third. Never bothered to watch the fourth. The only one I really liked was the original. The second just seemed too flashy with special effects.

You might be interested to hear this then.

A few years back(before T4)a critic gave his opinion on T3.

Not only did he think it was the best Terminator movie, he also thought it was one of the best 5 sci-fi movies of all time.

Good thing too. Because nothing can be done until we invoke the cone of silence.

The first one was a great movie, really drew me into the story and the characters. Arnold was perfect for the role. The others, I don't remember so much.
