On a Win 7/62 with quad cores and 12 gig or RAM.

Well that is quite bizzare, since the game should be very light-weight. I'm wondering if there was some other resource carrying on in the background eating up cycles?

My desktop is a WIN 7 64 Bit.

My netbook is WIN 7 Home Basic.

There a scenario named Djebel el Guessa.

Move a unit in travel mode.

The desktop (sometimes) the game stops responding for a moment and then continues.

The netbook will (sometimes) slow for a few moments and then continue.

I've done this map before, and never had problems.

I'm wondering, there is a menu 'Game Settings' which has 4 adjustable fields for speed, such as movement and animations, etc. Maybe the problem/fix lies in there.
