Can LCU's using strategic movement enter an enemy occupied hex ?

I think it can, not positive as I've not tried it, but only if it's a base hex but if they attack you, your unit is toast hence why I've never tried it. I know it can't SM to a plain hex, it must be a base hex of some sort.
