Does anybody know which skill needs to be trained to allow the G4M2es to launch Okhas effectively? NavB or NavT (or something else)?

Low Naval bombing as that is what is used for kamikaze attacks and the OHkas are Kamikazes.

That is, of course, unless they operate as some special exception to this rule... which I wouldn't 100% outrule.

Well, that's that settled then.

Thanks, Nemo. I wouldn't rule it out either. If nobody knows, then I guess I'll have them trained both in NavB and LowNav and hope for the best. NavT is the most unlikely suspect as the G4M2e doesn't have the usual bomb/torpedo switch of their torpedo-carrying brethren.

I also do wonder if the added range of the Okha means that the plane is more survivable against CAP than normal bombers.

If I remember correctly, in Witp, the launching bomber did not suffer from flak, Cap I am not sure about that, not sure either if the launched bomb suffered from full flak or cap defences.

IRL the launching bomber would launch the OKHAs from altitude (and relatively far from target). I think the OKHA was more of a powered gliding bomb also. The rudimentary controls (including pilot) and high speed of the OKHA were certainly not conducive to wave-skimming attacks either (too likely to crash). It would seem that high level bombing would be the necessary skill set. But I don't know about the game.
