Started the 1941 GC as soviet, using rail like crazy every turn, and then all of a sudden my rail cap went to 0.
It started the last mud turn in November when the turn started with 0 rail cap, and continued at least the following 2 turns with around 4000 cap and 2000 cap respectivelly.

I'm still playing, hopefully this is normal and the rail will come back in time... Can't find any info about this being some kind of weather effect, so I'm assuming it's a bug.

Any ideas? Cause the game is just about unplayable as Soviet without rail...

Do you have entrained units during the logistic phase?

If there is a choo-choo pictured over the unit it is still entrained and counts against the rail cap even if it does not move. It also doesn't fight very well

Your rail capacity is diminished by the units already entrained. So if you used up your entire rail capacity on turn 10 AND left all your guys in rail mode, on turn 11 you would have no available rail capacity because those guys from turn 10 are still using the trains.

What you want to do if you know you'll need rail capacity for the next turn is to disembark as many units as possible - this usually means leaving 15 MPs so they can disembark.
