I have started some PBM games. I realize that the VCR doesn’t shows everything of the other player movement. I understand that this is in order to keep small the size of the files which will have sent during a PBM game. I made some experiments and I think that there is some thing important that the VCR doesn’t shows: It seems that if “player 1” unit begging spotted by “player 2” one during some point of its movement, and then the unit gets out of “player 2” LOS, then VCR doesn’t shows “player 1”’s unit. I mean: you see all enemy units that ends their movements on a hex that is in your units LOS. But if the unit is spotted and then it hides. Then you doesn’t see it. I don't know if I could express the idea clearly. ------------------ No Pasarán!!

It has always been that way. I doubt it would be easy to fix that, or if fix is even the right word. Tomo

Is this essentially the same implementation as "Steel Panthers III"? Or has it been modified/upgraded?   I recall that in SPIII only targets fired on by opportunity fire will be seen in the replay, not units moving in LOS. (edited to clarify question) [This message has been edited by AbnAirCav (edited December 27, 2000).]

This is correct, the replay system is only designed to show you the opfire shots that ocured, so you know what killed what, not the movement.

Is there any possibility that new upgrades in VCR shows some movements too? I think that is really important to know if some unit was move thought my LOS. (I now that you all Matrix guys did a rally great job. I congratulate all of you about this. S please don’t take this as a critic.)

Nope, that is something that will have to wait for a new game system
