Yes, it has the Windows sticker with the serial number

All you need is install media then. Just borrow someone's.....just not an upgrade version. Install and put in her product key.

Fixed.

thanks

I was watching Band of Brothers episode 4 tonight (the Market-Garden) episode, and it struck me as peculiar that the production company was able to acquire multiple examples of Shermans and Cromwells, but only one copy each of all German vehicles. I counted a Tiger, a Jagdpanther, a Marder III, a Stug IV, a halftrack with a Pak 40 and a scout car. Only one of each, though...

Pretty damn good as it is though, dontcha think? I hated all those war movies with US tanks playing as Germans.

True, but still... They couldn't make two Stug's instead of one Stug and one Jagdpanther (the latter being comparatively rarer than the former)?

Just heard that a friend that I made when I was in hospital has pasted away. He was a real nice old guy, and we did a lot of talking, as you can when your both stuck in hospital.

He had fallen off his back porch, and badly broken his arm. He had been in good health for a seventy year old before the fall. Then he had a mild heart attack on the way to hospital, then kidney and liver problems in hospital.

But all he wanted was to get home, and wasn't telling the Doctors everything. His last test to get home was to walk up ten stairs, and he saved up a weeks worth of painkillers so he could do it. After he passed the test, he waited for his medical team to leave, then he passed-out.

I now wonder if I should of reported what I knew to the medical staff. But he had made promise not to, and I thought that was more important. Well I know he died where he wanted to be, and maybe that was also the right thing too.

Rest in peace my Friend.

+1. Although that's probably not as bad as what they used for the US battleships in "The film that shall not be named"......

Not quite sure what unit would have had Jagdpanthers at Arnhem. It would have had to be the SS units as the rest of the German forces were local trash.

Sorry to hear that DivePac. I think the importance attached to choosing where you drop off this mortal coil should not be understated. My mum died in February (wasn't February great ) and thanks to my sister, who nursed her at home in the last nine months of her life, she never had to enter hospital - something she had a morbid fear of. I know being at home, surrounded by her family and "things" was what she really wished for at the end.

Did he pass yesterday? Hopefully he was the target of the Rapture.

Just knocked out a bowflex workout and headed out for an easy bike ride with my son.  .5 miles into the ride I managed to get my first flat tire on my bike, ever.  I've had it 25 miles from home/car in the past, and that piece of glass waited until I was within easy walking distance of the house.

Guess I should take a shower, pour a drink and celebrate good fortune where and when I can find it.

Now Mike, you should be taking it easier... All this fitness work can take years off your life, and bugger your muscles in early age.

I think you did the right thing. I think we have taken the dignity out of dieing and replaced it with keeping a person alive as long as possible sometimes.

You are best off being rid of this deranged female, and of that place if I'm any judge. Better things are for you, my friend. My prayers are in that regard on your behalf.

Bolts aren't ugly. Just sturdy. And Hurri's aren't nearly as pretty as a nice Spit.

Sounds an odd duck to me, T.
