Hey everybody.  I'm beginning to think THIS thread is just to see how long it takes to make the longest thread in the history of the Matrix Games site.  True?

Everyone who does not take themselves too seriously are most welcome here, Larry!

You know, I must have seen this ad fifty times. It still cracks me up every time. I'm so simple...

Yeah, I still enjoy it too.

Back during the Elian Gonzales "incident" there was a themed version done to the sound track from this commercial. I wish it was still up on the internet. Maybe a youtube search of Elian Whazzzup will find it.

You know, this Aussie Ad is pretty good too...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYZs7VJaAlQ&feature=related

D**n, that one was good!

yes- Crappie. pronounced Craw pee....

Not how I'd have pronounced it

It's cră - pee. Don't let those yanks deceive you.

The martian's right. We're all grown ups here, right, and can appreciate that this fish happens to have a name akin to a perjorative descriptor for quality? Or do we still giggle that playground giggle when we hear about those tiny, cute little Dik-diks too?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dik-dik

ETA: Pfft.....

ETA II: "...They are also nocturnal, so they avoid the heat of the day and any unnecessary water loss."

Seems sensible to me. A smart Dik-dik will avoid daytime exposure and come out at night.

ETA III: Even as a veterinarian, I have no experience with Dik-diks. This would be a question for someone with a very different specialty focus than I have, I'm afraid.

ETA IV:

I am sorry to hear that....

BTW it IS craaaawpee thank you very much

Yep, just like katie Perry sinds a song called Peacock (with a pause between the syllabuls) and The Sex Pistols did Pretty Vacant.

Er... i think this is the 5th incarnation... it is by far the longest thread on the Matrix site (heck, all of the incarnations were longer than any other thread, the next closest being the infamous "Bismark" (sic) thread.

What a nice cake, rtrapasso. I'd have baked one myself, but my internet-based baking skills are poor. Judge for yourself by my latest attempt:

Condolences, JWE. I hate losing pets. They are such honest creatures. Know what they are. Know what they do. If only humans were half that centered.

BTW, I hope your dinner was a success. Don't recall hearing how it went? Did the tomato appetizer and berries with ice cream work out?
