I've noticed this since 1.04.16. Its not yet October so captured equipment isn't being used, but some of the captured equipment in the production list is showing up with a different pool and captured number (pool is lower than captured).

What is happening with these lost units? Joyriding? Selling them on the black market? "Psst, hey buddy, want a T-26 light tank? Cheap! Fell off the back of a train on its way to Lvov, only driven once before it was surrendered to the 6th army!"

Filtering of the transit/active pools?

I think it may be caused by scrapping. 1/10 of old unused equipment in the pool is converted to ammo.

By the "end date". Equipment obsoleted more than a year ago has chances to get scrapped.

Yep, that explains it. Just looked at my game, they are all units that I have a fair number of, and all are past their expiration date.
