what sizes are you guys making your defensive zones (physically)?


this is what i am using...





i don't think the length is as important as the width of the zone in this game.

Zone sizes depend on the coverage.  Deep zones are wider in cover 2 (half of field) than cover 3 (1/2 of field), and cover 4 (1/4 of field).  The underneith zones also vary depending on the number of zones, however on underneith zones I tend to give wider zones to DBs than LB's.

I guess the follow-up question for everyone is has anyone tried the "micro zone" concept that some people used in FBPro98?

I'll try it if noone else has if I ever find the time, but that's something I haven't had in a while.

that's correct. i've should have added C2-C4 in the template.

I generally make my deep zones deeper than that.

I also make them cover more area, as one never knows what will release to the safety from the short zones.

I have played FBPro98, but I do not know what the reference to a "micro zone" is.
