Good evening, Brothers.

Back from a second night of hockey tryouts for my son.  He's playing very well so far, but that honestly might not mean anything.

We'll know by Sunday if he makes one of these two teams, or if we'll do it again in 2 weeks.

Nothing like changing a truck tire in the pitch dark on a country road..at least I had the KC Royals on the radio to keep me company....

Good evening everyone!

BTW Blackhawks should have repeated this year...too bad our star player likes to rob cab drivers during the offseason with his cousin. Idiot...

Mike- I am sure your son will make one of the teams. I loved playing hockey as a kid. Yes..in Kansas, it happened.

So, what kind of player is he?

Domi like enforcer ?
Hanson brothers?

Or my favorite, Mr. Tony Amonte himself!!

For the record, Kristian, I don't like your new tag line at all. I very much doubt your mediocrity and think that your wallowing in self doubt is entirely uncalled for, just because of your current employment status. Get up. Kick ass. Take names.

No computer versions other than Vassal and Cyberboard modules. They're solitaire games anyway...

Aye, what T said.

The Vassal and Cyberboard modules need the original game to play them but they make things a LOT easier. No need to sort through hundreds of little pieces of card for a start It also stops various weapons of mass destruction from running amok across the world.

Thanks for info guys!

Hey Dixie, I decided against Silent War and have gone with Steel Wolves instead. U-Boote vorwärts!

Traitor! Although I have to admit that the Battle of the Atlantic usually interests me far more than the Pacific submarine war.

I thought about getting Steel Wolves as well, right up until I saw the price! Instead I got the IJN expansion for Silent War, lots of extra counter and stuff with every IJN warship and a decent chunk of their auxiliaries as well.

Is there a Vassal module out for Steel Wolves one yet? Let us know how you get on with it.

Did you download the vassal expansion for IJN from the Vassal site??

I hope you like it.

I just noticed that one of the maintainers listed on the vassal site is a certain Reg. Fishing for compliments?

I haven't heard a single word of review so I was wondering how it was received and whether they found any problems..... (It's a very simple module but I know all it's warts). I would have killed to use better artwork but no such luck.

There were some comments on comsimworld that they wanted a module but no actual feedback.

Righto, I've only been using it for a few days so far. It seems to work as it should, pretty much exactly how it'd work with the actual board game just without loads of counters to put away. There's nothing so far I'd say was a major problem, the only minor thing is that there wasn't a campaign included with it so I had to spend two minutes of my time setting it up Cheers for taking the time to make it

Shame your module couldn't make the game easier, I might not make my Feb tonnage target
