Status: offline 		Ive been playing this game since it came out and i must say this is the best east front game to date. ive played them all and although WITE is not perfect, i think it does a very good job of depicting the struggle on the eastern front. I only play Gmens and so far i think the game plays out pretty darn close to what it must have been like for Germany. Gmen can steamroll in 41 then little by little the red horde arrives. I know there has been talk about how the Gmen can win, well truth be told this is the eastern front and Germany didn't win and actually got smashed on the eastern front. So the question is , how should the Gmen side be balanced knowing you should get smashed? I would say the Gmen should have a slim chance of auto victory (the russians have to play really bad) early then after that if you can get a draw you did good. There may be a few what if scenarios that can make for a balanced game but all in all the eastern front was not kind to Germany nor should it be. So for all the players that would like a more balanced game i would say leave the standard game alone and make the what if scenarios with tweeks that can help the Geman side achieve victory late in the game. This forum is great and hats off to everyone here trying to improve the game.
