In my current test game as SU vs AI at normal setting a Finnish unit has attacked whilst Beyond No attack line (just by one hex).
Is this a bug. Game started in v1.03 and updated as beta patches made available
I attach screen shot and can send save if needed.
Thanks

Mike

I trust Leningrad is still in your hands.

It's hard to tell from the mini map.

Maybe the frozen Lake has created an unusual allowed movement, circumventing the usual "No attack line rules".

You should never be able to move on lake hexes, regardless of the ice. Hexsides, yes, entire hexes, never.

IIRC There was a post in the last week where a German unit crossed an impassable water hex near Moscow during Winter when it was frozen.

Joel Billings said it was possible when it's frozen.

Lakes are slightly different than impassable water sides though.

Just offering it up as a possibility.

I always thought attached construction support units helped units to fortify, until I tested it and bug reported that it didn't. It has now been patched away.

Plus you had your great find about 2 weeks ago, which is still a secret.

HQ Buildup was at 19 distance to railhead, and still might be if you encounter the distance rounding error.

So SuperFinns crossing frozen Lakes wouldn't shock me.

Crank it up to HARD it kicks butt then.

Oh I forgot, you cant change it like that per.se.

Get the slider settings from a HARD game config in a new game selection.

Then adjust your games ingame sliders to suit.

The AI was very impressive on HARD settings.
