Hey,
GOG has Privateer now! If we could just merge the two games together, that would be tits..

I would be interested in how you would propose doing that? Like the X Universe, but more strategy?

Or like SR2....but in the end privateer and sr2 are single person non-4x so the result will be a multi genre mixture.

I was quite interested in Privateer when it showed up at GOG. Migh give it a try at some point in the future. There's going to be more interesting classic titles now that the GOG has a deal on classic EA games.

Still, the real friggin' deal for me was the Dungeon Keeper! I played it so, so much when I was a kid. It's easily one my top-10 games of all time. So fun, so original, so great. I had completely forgotten it for years!
Words can't express how happy I was when I saw it at GOG. Oh, wait. They can: YES!!!

EDIT: Also, now there's hope for System Shock. Oh Yeah!
EDIT OF EDIT: ZOG! Seems like the System Shock (or Syndicate for that matter) wasn't part of the deal. *Sadface*

Sweet! Thanks for the tip Greywolf1! Will check it out once I've played to hell out of Dungeon Keeper. May be a while.

EDIT: Contents removed by poster.

I had erroneously posted a problem with SSP which I had caused myself - no need to document my stupidity.

Any chance having high res version of ultima underworlds too?

I finished some deluxe version of first system shock and then its sequel about two years ago. They are still much better than say bioshock 1 & 2.

Terra Nova: Strike force centauri is worth checking out too. I finished it last time in the 90s. Was ripped version though so another replay with a decent version might be worth trying out.

Well, you may try and search the internet for "ultima underworld remake" or similar.

I think there were a few attempts at rewriting the UW's, but they all appear to have failed after some time. You may be able to find traces of these attempts (alpha or beta versions, screenshots, ...) even today.
